What We Do

The Eric Monday Foundation is uniquely focused to raise awareness of student-athletes’ mental health issues and to #TAKEDOWNTHESTIGMA that prevents so many from seeking help.

How We Do It

Our free, online Coach’s Mental Health Awareness Training provides coaches, athletic directors, and other trusted advisors with the training, tools and resources they need to talk to their athletes about mental health and to recognize and respond to issues when they occur.

Why We Do It

  • Statistically, 49% of all student-athletes will experience a mental health challenge.
  • Athletes experience unique stress and intensity and are least likely to ask for help.
  • Coaches have a unique and impactful relationship with athletes.
  • Know the person, not just the athlete.
  • Be Aware. Be Involved. #TAKEDOWNTHESTIGMA
